What you need on the final to hit your target grade.
How this is calculated
Your current grade covers everything except the final exam. It counts for its share of the overall grade, and the final covers the rest:
required = (target − current × (100 − weight) / 100) / (weight / 100)
The result is shown to one decimal place. If your target is mathematically out of reach, you will see the best overall grade you can still achieve. If your target is already locked in, you will see that too.
What this assumes
Everything except the final exam has already been graded, and the final is the only remaining assessment. Grades are percentages from 0 to 100, and the final must be worth at least 1 percent.
